Bunny's Big Sharing Day

Hop hopped in the sunny meadow. His big floppy ears bounced. His pink nose wiggled. Hop had a basket full of carrots. Red carrots, blue carrots, yellow carrots! Hop saw Squirrel. Squirrel looked sad. His bushy tail drooped. "What's wrong, Squirrel?" asked Hop. "I'm hungry," said Squirrel. "No food for me." Hop looked at his carrots. He hugged his basket tight. "My carrots," he thought. But Squirrel's tummy rumbled. Hop felt bad. He looked at his many carrots again. "I can share!" Hop said. He took out a yellow carrot. "Here, Squirrel," said Hop. "A carrot for you!" Squirrel's eyes got big. "For me?" he asked. "Yes!" said Hop. "Sharing is nice!" Squirrel munched the carrot. "Yum! Thank you, Hop!" Hop felt warm inside. Sharing made him happy. He smiled big. "Want to play?" Hop asked Squirrel. "Yes!" said Squirrel. "Let's play!" Hop and Squirrel played in the soft grass. They laughed and had fun. Sharing was good!

Hop woke up happy. He looked at his basket of carrots. "I want to share more!" he said. Hop hopped through the sunny meadow. He saw tall trees and a little stream. "Hello, friends!" Hop called. A small yellow Bird flew down. "Tweet, tweet!" said Bird. A tiny gray Mouse peeked out. "Squeak!" said Mouse. Hop smiled. "I have carrots to share!" he said. "Red carrot for Bird!" Hop gave Bird a carrot. "Blue carrot for Mouse!" Hop gave Mouse a carrot. Bird chirped happily. Mouse squeaked with joy. "Thank you, Hop!" they said. Hop felt warm inside. Sharing was fun! "Let's have a picnic!" said Hop. All the friends sat by the stream. They munched carrots together. "Yum, yum!" said Bird. "Crunch, crunch!" said Mouse. "Sharing is nice!" said Hop. Everyone was happy. The sun shined bright. Hop looked at his friends. He saw their big smiles. "Sharing makes everyone happy!" Hop said. And it was true. Hop and his friends had the best day ever!
