Timid Turtle's Brave Adventure

Once upon a time, there was a little turtle named Timmy. Timmy was very shy and always hid in his shell. He lived in a big pond with many animal friends. There was Freddy the Frog, Daisy the Duck, and Finn the Fish. One day, Timmy's friends wanted to play. But Timmy was scared. He said, "No, no, no!" and hid in his shell. Freddy said, "Come out, Timmy!" Daisy said, "It's fun, Timmy!" Finn said, "Don't be afraid, Timmy!" Timmy peeked out of his shell. He saw his friends smiling. Maybe being brave wasn't so scary after all.

Timmy Comes Out to Play

Timmy the Turtle peeked out of his shell. His big eyes looked around. The sun was bright. The pond was pretty. "Come play, Timmy!" said Freddy Frog. He smiled wide. "It's fun!" said Daisy Duck. Her orange beak shined. "Don't be scared," said Finn Fish. His scales sparkled. Timmy was shy. He said, "I... I don't know." "We'll help you," said Freddy. "We're your friends," said Daisy. "You can do it," said Finn. Timmy thought hard. Then, slowly, he took a step out. "Yay, Timmy!" his friends cheered. Timmy smiled. Being brave felt good.

Timmy's First Game

Timmy looked at his friends. They were playing a game. "Follow me!" said Freddy. He hopped on a lily pad. "Hop, hop, hop!" Daisy followed. "Splash, splash, splash!" Finn swam around. "Swim, swim, swim!" Timmy felt nervous. "I... I don't know how." "Try, Timmy!" his friends cheered. Timmy took a deep breath. He stepped on a lily pad. "Hop?" "Yes!" said Freddy. "Now again!" "Hop, hop!" Timmy tried. Soon, Timmy was hopping and splashing with his friends. "I did it!" Timmy smiled. "You're great, Timmy!" his friends said. Timmy felt proud. Playing with friends was fun!

Timmy Helps a Friend

Timmy saw something shiny near the pond. It was a spider web! In the web was a pretty butterfly. "Help!" said the butterfly. "I'm Bella, and I'm stuck!" Timmy felt scared. But his friends said, "You can do it, Timmy!" "Be brave, Timmy!" they cheered. Timmy took a deep breath. He stretched his long neck. Slowly, he reached for Bella. "Almost there," said Timmy. Gently, he freed Bella from the web. "Thank you, Timmy!" Bella fluttered happily. Everyone cheered, "Hooray for Timmy!" Timmy smiled. Being brave felt wonderful. He had helped a new friend!

Timmy's Big Adventure

Timmy the Turtle stood tall. His friends followed him around the pond. "Look!" said Timmy. "Pretty flowers!" "One, two, three flowers!" counted Freddy. "Red flower, blue flower, yellow flower!" said Daisy. They saw a big log. "Oh no!" said Bella. "It's too high!" "I'll help," said Timmy. He made a bridge with his shell. Everyone crossed safely. "Thank you, Timmy!" they cheered. Timmy smiled. "Being brave is fun!" They played and laughed all day. At home, Timmy felt happy and proud. "Being brave brings new friends and fun times," he thought.
