Dusty the Cloud's First Raindrop

Once upon a time, high up in the sky, there was a little cloud named Dusty. Dusty was fluffy and white, but he had never made rain before. All the other clouds could make raindrops, but not Dusty. "I want to make rain too," said Dusty. The sun smiled at Dusty. "You can do it!" she said. The wind whispered, "Just try your best!" Dusty puffed up big and round. He tried and tried. "Oh!" said Dusty. A tiny raindrop fell from him. Dusty was so happy! He learned that with practice and encouragement, he could do new things.

Dusty's Big Dream

Up, up in the sky, there was a little cloud named Dusty. Dusty was small and fluffy, with big eyes and a shy smile. He lived in a beautiful blue sky with other clouds, the bright sun, and the gentle wind. Dusty watched the other clouds make rain. Drip, drop, went their raindrops. But Dusty couldn't make rain. He felt sad. The sun, a big, bright circle with a kind face, saw Dusty. "Don't be sad, Dusty," said the sun. "You can do it too!" The wind, invisible but with a soft voice, whispered, "Just try your best, Dusty!" Dusty wanted to make rain. He puffed up big and round. He tried and tried. "I can do it," said Dusty. Dusty concentrated hard. He puffed and puffed. Suddenly, a tiny raindrop fell from him. Plop! "Oh!" said Dusty. He was so happy! He made his first raindrop. Dusty learned that with practice and kind words from friends, he could do new things. He felt proud and excited to try more.

Dusty's New Friends

Dusty floated higher in the sky. He was bigger and fluffier now. He saw other young clouds who couldn't make rain yet. "Hello!" said Dusty. He met a round blue cloud, a square pink cloud, and a triangle yellow cloud. "We can't make rain," they said sadly. Dusty remembered the sun and wind's kind words. "You can do it!" he said. "Let's try together!" Puff, puff, went the clouds. They tried and tried. The sky changed colors. It was blue, then pink, then yellow. "Keep trying!" said Dusty. "You're doing great!" Drip, drop, fell a raindrop from the blue cloud. "I did it!" the blue cloud cheered. Soon, the pink and yellow clouds made raindrops too. Puff, puff, went the clouds. Drip, drop, fell the rain. All the young clouds made a small shower together. A beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky. "Look what we did!" said Dusty. "We made rain and a rainbow!" The young clouds felt proud. They learned that working together and encouraging each other helps everyone succeed. Dusty was happy. He had new friends and taught them something special.

Dusty's Big Day

Dusty's Big Day Dusty, now a big, fluffy cloud, looked down. Oh no! The garden was dry. Flowers drooped, sad and thirsty. Animals said, "Oh dear, no water!" Dusty called his cloud friends. "Let's help!" he said. They all nodded. Down, down to the ground they floated. Dusty grew dark and heavy. His friends did too. "Ready?" asked Dusty. "Set..." said his friends. "Go!" they all shouted. Rain, rain, wonderful rain! Pitter-patter, splash-splash! Dusty led the big rainstorm. The garden drank up the water. Flowers stood tall again. "Yay!" they cheered. Animals danced in the puddles. "Hooray for rain!" they sang. Dusty felt happy and proud. He helped make everything better! "We did it!" Dusty told his friends. They all smiled. The sun peeked out. A rainbow appeared. What a beautiful sight! Dusty learned that helping others feels good. He was glad he could make rain now. The garden was happy, the animals were happy, and Dusty was the happiest cloud in the sky.
