Once upon a time, in a cozy little house, there lived a furry blue monster named Messy. Messy loved to play, but he never cleaned up his toys. His room was always a big mess! One day, Messy's friend, Tidy Turtle, came to visit. Tidy Turtle was shocked to see all the toys on the floor. "Oh no, Messy!" said Tidy Turtle. "We can't play here. It's too messy!" Messy felt sad. He wanted to play with his friend. He looked at his messy room and frowned. Maybe it was time to learn how to tidy up. But how?

Messy's Big Problem

Chapter illustration
Messy's room was very messy. Toys were everywhere! Red blocks on the bed. Blue balls on the floor. Yellow cars under the chair. It was hard to walk! Tidy Turtle came in. His eyes got big. "Oh my!" he said. "So many toys!" Messy looked sad. "I know," he said. "It's too messy." Tidy Turtle couldn't move. There were toys in the way. "We can't play here," he said. Messy felt even sadder. He wanted to play with his friend. He looked at all the toys. Red ones, blue ones, yellow ones. Big ones, small ones. So many! "I want to clean," said Messy. "But how?" Tidy Turtle smiled. "I can help," he said. Messy felt a little better. Maybe cleaning could be fun? He looked at the red blocks, blue balls, and yellow cars. Where should he start? "Let's make a game," said Tidy Turtle. Messy nodded. He was ready to learn. He wanted his room to be tidy. He wanted to play with Tidy Turtle. But first, they had to clean.

Tidy Turtle's Cleaning Game

Chapter illustration
Tidy Turtle smiled at Messy. "Let's play a cleaning game!" he said. Messy clapped his furry blue hands. "How?" he asked. Tidy Turtle pointed to a red block. "Red toys go here," he said, making a pile. Messy picked up a red car. "Red toys go here," he repeated, putting it with the block. "Blue toys go there," Tidy Turtle said, pointing to another spot. Messy found a blue ball. "Blue toys go there," he said, rolling it to the new pile. They kept going. Yellow toys in one corner. Soft toys on the bed. Big toys by the door. Messy giggled as he cleaned. It was fun! His room started to look better. "Look!" Messy said. "I can see the floor!" Tidy Turtle nodded. "Good job, Messy!" Messy felt happy. He picked up more toys. Teddy bears went on the bed. Blocks went in a box. Bouncy balls rolled into a basket. The room was getting cleaner. Messy could walk without stepping on toys. "We did it!" Messy cheered. But there were still some toys left. Messy looked at them. "More to clean," he said. Tidy Turtle patted his shell. "You're doing great, Messy. Let's keep going!" Messy nodded. He was proud of his work. Cleaning was fun with a friend!

A Tidy Surprise

Chapter illustration
The sun peeked through Messy's window. He opened his big eyes and yawned. Then he looked around. "Oh!" he said. His room was clean! All the toys were put away. Red blocks in a box. Blue balls in a basket. Yellow cars on a shelf. Messy jumped out of bed. He touched his teddy bear, neatly sitting on a chair. He smiled big. Just then, Tidy Turtle came in. "Wow, Messy!" he said. "Your room looks great!" Messy nodded. "I did it!" he said proudly. "You worked hard," Tidy Turtle said. "Good job!" Messy felt happy. His room was nice and tidy. "Want to play?" he asked Tidy Turtle. "Yes!" said Tidy Turtle. They played with blocks. They rolled balls. They zoomed cars. It was so much fun in the clean room! "It's easy to play now," Messy said. Tidy Turtle nodded. "Clean rooms are fun rooms," he said. Messy agreed. He liked his tidy room. He would keep it clean from now on. "Cleaning up is good," Messy said. And they played happily all day in the nice, clean room.
