Once upon a time, in a bright and colorful classroom, there lived a box of crayons. Each crayon had its own special color and personality. Red was brave, Blue was calm, Yellow was cheerful, and Green was kind. They all lived happily together, coloring beautiful pictures for the children.
One day, a shiny new purple crayon joined the box. The other crayons were excited, but the box itself felt jealous. It worried that the children might like the new crayon more than the others. The crayon box decided to hide Purple away, keeping it out of sight.
Little did the box know, its jealousy would soon lead to a big problem...
The New Purple Crayon
In the bright classroom, the crayon box sat on a colorful shelf. Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green peeked out with their stick-figure arms and smiling faces. Red stood tall and brave, Blue looked calm and peaceful, Yellow grinned cheerfully, and Green had a kind expression.
One sunny day, a sparkly new Purple crayon arrived. It twinkled and smiled at everyone. The other crayons waved excitedly, and the children gathered around, eager to use Purple in their drawings.
But the crayon box didn't feel happy. Its eyebrows furrowed, and it frowned. "What if they like Purple more than the others?" it thought. The box watched as the children drew pretty purple flowers and butterflies.
Feeling more and more jealous, the box made a decision. When no one was looking, it quickly hid Purple deep inside, where no one could find it. The box hoped everything would go back to normal, but it didn't know the trouble it had caused.
The Missing Color
The next day, the children came to class excited to use Purple again. But when they looked in the crayon box, Purple was nowhere to be found! Their little faces turned sad, and the teacher looked worried.
Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green peeked out of the box, whispering to each other. "Where's Purple?" they wondered. Red stood up tall and said, "We must look for Purple!" Blue patted Red's shoulder and said, "Let's stay calm and think."
Yellow tried to make the children smile by telling funny jokes, while Green said kind words to cheer everyone up. The crayon box watched all this, looking very guilty.
As the crayons talked, they noticed the box looking strange. "Maybe the box knows where Purple is," said Red. The other crayons nodded. They decided it was time to ask the box what happened to their new purple friend.
A Colorful Lesson
The crayons gathered around the box, their faces serious. "Where's Purple?" Red asked bravely. The box looked down, feeling ashamed. "I... I hid Purple," it admitted softly. The crayons gasped as the box opened, revealing Purple inside.
Purple came out, looking sad. "Why did you hide me?" it asked. The box explained its jealousy, and the crayons listened. "Every color is special," Blue said calmly. "Having more friends makes us all happier," added Green kindly.
The box realized its mistake. "I'm sorry," it said. "Can we be friends?" Purple smiled and nodded. Together, all the crayons drew a beautiful rainbow picture. The children cheered, and the teacher smiled proudly.
"Remember," said Yellow cheerfully, "everyone is important, just like all the colors in a rainbow." The box learned that being jealous can hurt others, and that including everyone makes the world more colorful and fun.
