The Ticklish Sun's Morning Surprise

The sky was dark. The clouds looked worried. The big, round Sun was not smiling. Oh no! The Sun didn't laugh. Every day, the Sun would wake up happy. It would laugh, "Hee-hee! Ha-ha!" But today, the Sun was sad. The birds with pretty feathers woke up. They looked up. No Sun laugh! The fluffy bunnies hopped out. They looked up. No Sun laugh! The bright flowers opened their petals. They looked up. No Sun laugh! "Where is the Sun's laugh?" chirped the birds. "Why is the sky so dark?" asked the bunnies. "We miss the warm light," said the flowers. The animals were confused. They were sad too. They missed the Sun's happy face. "The Sun didn't laugh," said a little bird. "The sky is dark," said a small bunny. "We are all sad," said a tiny flower. The animals thought and thought. They wanted to help their friend, the Sun. "We must make the Sun happy!" said the birds. "We must bring back the light!" said the bunnies. "We must hear the Sun laugh again!" said the flowers. All the animals nodded. Yes, they would help the Sun! The birds flapped their wings. The bunnies wiggled their noses. The flowers waved their leaves. "Let's work together," they all said. They had a big job to do. The Sun was high up in the sky. It was so far away! But the animals didn't give up. "We can do it!" they cheered. The birds, bunnies, and flowers made a plan. They would try to make the Sun laugh again. They would bring back the light and warmth. As the animals got ready, they felt excited. They knew that friends help each other when they're sad. Now, it was time to help their friend, the Sun. What would the animals do? "We can do it!" waved a pretty flower. The animals formed a Tickle Team. The birds had soft feathers. The bunnies had fluffy tails. The flowers had wiggly petals. But the Sun was so high up in the sky. How would they reach? The birds flew up, up, up. Their wings flapped fast. The bunnies hopped high, high, high. Their legs jumped strong. The flowers stretched tall, tall, tall. Their stems grew long. But they couldn't reach the Sun. It was too far away! "Let's try again!" said the Tickle Team. The birds tickled with their beaks. Tickle, tickle! The bunnies tickled with their whiskers. Wiggle, wiggle! The flowers tickled with their leaves. Swish, swish! But the Sun didn't laugh. Not even a tiny giggle! The Tickle Team tried once more. The birds sang funny songs. "La la la!" The bunnies did silly dances. "Hop hop hop!" The flowers made funny faces. "Smile smile smile!" Still, the Sun didn't laugh. Oh no! The animals felt a bit sad. They had tried so hard. "The Sun is still not happy," said a bird. "We couldn't make it laugh," said a bunny. "What can we do now?" asked a flower. But the Tickle Team didn't give up. They knew the Sun needed their help. "We are the Sun's friends," they all said. "Friends don't give up on each other," chirped the birds. "We will find a way," hopped the bunnies. "Together, we can do it!" waved the flowers. The animals put on their thinking caps. What else could they do to make the Sun laugh? As they thought and thought, a new idea began to grow. Maybe tickling wasn't the answer. But what could be? The sky was still dark, but hope shined in the animals' hearts. The Morning Surprise The animals thought and thought. Then, a little bird had a big idea! "Let's sing a special song to the Sun!" chirped the bird. "Oh yes, a happy song!" hopped the bunnies. "We can all sing together!" swayed the flowers. All the animals gathered around. The birds perched on branches. The bunnies sat in a circle. The flowers turned their faces to the sky. "Ready, everyone?" asked the little bird. "Let's sing!" They took a deep breath and began their special song: "Good morning, Sun! We love you! Good morning, Sun! Please laugh too! Your smile is bright, your laugh is fun, We miss you, our dear friend Sun!" They sang it again and again. The birds chirped sweetly. The bunnies thumped their feet. The flowers swayed in the breeze. At first, nothing happened. The Sun's face was still sad. But the animals didn't give up. They sang louder and with more love. Slowly, the Sun's frown started to fade. Its round cheeks began to lift. A tiny smile appeared! The animals saw this and sang even harder: "Good morning, Sun! We love you! Good morning, Sun! Please laugh too!" Suddenly, the Sun's smile grew bigger and bigger. Its eyes twinkled with joy. And then... "Hee-hee! Ha-ha!" The Sun burst into laughter! The sky filled with warm, golden light. The clouds danced away. The whole world seemed to shine! All the animals cheered. They jumped and danced with happiness. "You made me so happy!" said the Sun. "Thank you, my dear friends. I promise to always share my laughter with you." From that day on, whenever the Sun felt sad, it remembered its friends' special song. And the animals learned that when a friend is sad, a little kindness can bring back their smile. The birds chirped, "Friends help friends!" The bunnies hopped, "Kindness makes us happy!" The flowers bloomed, "Together, we can do anything!"
